We paid off our house today!!

By following the “Financial Peace” debt snowball guidelines, we got out of “regular” debt several years ago. We paid off credit cards, cars, building loans, partnership buy-in and we started an emergency fund. Since that time, we have only purchased used cars – we have 3 now, each with over 100,000 miles and they are running like dreams! About 5 years ago, we were $60K away from the status symbol of choice and then bought into a lake house and were back to paying off a 200,000+ mortgage. [...]
